Questions & Answers

Java Edition 1.20 or newer. We include a step-by-step setup guide that walks you through copying the world folder into your Minecraft saves directory. It takes about 2 minutes.
Nope! The activity guide walks you through everything. If your child has played Minecraft before, they'll feel right at home. If not, this is a great way to start.
Geography, Math, Science, and Social Studies. Each activity is labeled by subject and grade band (K-3, 4-6, 7-8) so you can easily track what you've covered.
Yes. MyZipQuest is designed as educational curriculum material. Families in Arizona, Florida, Texas, North Carolina, and other ESA states can use their education savings accounts.
Play Together is an optional add-on ($15/mo) that gives you a hosted Minecraft server with your world pre-loaded. No file copying, no technical setup — just click Start from your dashboard and your child connects. Great for families who want the easiest experience or who play with a co-op group (up to 10 players).
Either works. A custom ZIP world is a one-time purchase ($29) and includes a downloadable world package plus a lesson bundle. Play Together removes local setup and adds managed multiplayer.
Absolutely. The downloaded world file works for your whole family. Siblings can explore together using Minecraft's Open to LAN. With Play Together hosting, up to 10 players can join the server — perfect for homeschool co-ops.
Most worlds are ready within minutes of ordering. You'll get a download link by email with the world file and your activity guide PDF. If you have Play Together, the world is also pre-loaded on your server.
Yes. Our beta server is whitelisted (only approved players can join), public chat is disabled, and we require authentication through a valid Minecraft account. We don’t install tracking or analytics plugins. Server logs are automatically deleted after 30 days.
Only what the Minecraft server requires to operate: their Minecraft username, IP address, and connection times. We don’t collect names, emails, or any information directly from children. Parents can request deletion at any time. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Yes. We comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act. We don’t collect personal information from children on our website — only parents interact with our forms. Server access requires parental consent, and we never use children’s data for advertising or profiling.
